| A MESSAGE FROM THE INNKEEPERS... |
| |
Our love of the water and nature led us to purchase our lakeside property in 1986; it was while camping on the property for years that we found our vision was to eventually build a Seneca Lake vacation retreat to enjoy with our large family, and with friends. Originally from Syracuse, we had resided in the Rochester, New York suburb of Webster for 27 years and In 1995 our dream was realized when we were able to build our original lake house - a three bedroom, cedar contemporary home.

Eventually spending more and more time at Seneca, and growing in our appreciation and excitement for the entire Finger Lakes Region, and the beautiful Seneca Lake/Dundee, NY area in particular, we began envisioning our property as a permanent residence. Then came the idea to expand it into a New York Bed and Breakfast, where we could offer accommodations and hospitality to a wider circle. Our move to Seneca Lake coincided with our expansion project in the summer of 2003, doubling the size of our lake home.

Our Bed and Breakfast continues to be a labor of love for us. The open and relaxing interior, has grown out of our desire to retain the comfortable, personal atmosphere of our home in its beautiful, natural setting. Since our opening in the fall of 2004, guests from all across the United States, Canada, and Europe have come to enjoy our home, beautiful Seneca Lake, and the entire Finger Lakes Region. We are eager to share our beautiful home and surroundings with you. We sincerely hope that this place will be a respite and source of refreshment for you, just as it has been for us, and our family.
